What are we measuring?

↕

Shoulder height

Ground to the shoulder. The lion’s mane may extend above that point.

↕

Standing height

The height reported for a standing adult animal, such as a bison or zebra.

↕

Total height

Ground to the highest point. The giraffe and ostrich records use this measure.

The illustrations show relative scale as a game aid; the written measurement label and source record define the scored value.

Our animal values identify where a number is a range midpoint or an upper-end example. Each reveal links to the record used for scoring.

Animal FAQ

Are these average adult sizes?

Not always. Each source record states whether the game uses a published reference value, range midpoint, or upper-end example.

Can I play more than five rounds?

Yes. Finish a set, then choose Play Another Set.

Why do measurements differ between animals?

Sources report different anatomical points. Read each round’s dimension label before estimating.
